The Air, the Breath, the Life
If Water is the Blood of Mother Earth
then the Forest Floor is its Skin…
So Sensitive, yet so tough to endure

all our insults and refuse
So Beautiful to accept us at every turn
forever waiting patiently for our interest
for our responsability towards Her
for us to Stand and Protect what was Sacred
So Sacred for so long, but it seems another time
The Link, the Simplicity, the Stillness
nothing could be more necessary to this Life,
more urgent a Treasure to Protect
It is part of us as a People
no matter what color your skin is
If you Love the Forest
It will forever Love you back.
